Established in 2006, Wild Prairie Brass Choir is based in the Twin Cities. This 14-piece brass choir celebrates music of all styles by composers and arrangers, past and present. Each Thursday evening, Wild Prairie members come to rehearsal, ready to shed the stress of hectic lifestyles. Our sounds blend together resulting in a sense of serenity, peace of mind and deep friendship.

The repertoire features a wide variety of brass standards as well as a original arrangements created by our friends Dr. John Zdechlik, Ehrich Koch, Kelby Stine and Mark Chelgren.

Common and Uncommon Fanfares
The brass choir ensemble has been a favorite since the 15th century when Gabrieli's music was heard for the first time in St. Mark's Basilica in Venice. Enjoy the many fanfares and canzoni by Gabrieli as well as more modern-day composers including Copland, Ewazen, Zdechlik, Nelhybel.

Tomtarnas Julnatt Scandinavians celebrate the work of gnomes who, like Santa's elves, prepare the table for holiday cheer. This concert includes traditional carols and sing along. Concert performance.
